Description:

The Department of Chemistry & Physics has openings for Lecture/ Lab Instructional Assistant for various courses in Chemistry. Successful Candidate will be working with Chemistry Professors.

Responsibilities:

  • Grading papers.
  • Instructional assistance.
  • Lab prep and/or lab demonstrations.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
  • May also be required to host group study sessions.

This announcement will establish a pool of applicants and by submitting your application it will be made available to any Chemistry & Physics Faculty that have requested to hire a student. They will contact you directly if they wish to interview you.

Qualifications:

  • Students must have successfully completed CHEM 1210/1215 and 1220/1225 (Principles of Chemistry I & II and respective labs) with a grade of "C" or better; or, as a TA for higher level courses
  • Must have completed as a minimum, that specific course with a grade of "C" or better.
