VIDEOGRAPHER WANTED Thunderbird Marching Band - "The Sound of Southern Utah" PAID POSITION - $500 Stipend for Full Season The Thunderbird Marching Band is seeking a responsible student to record our pregame and halftime performances throughout the 2024 football season. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in video production, music, or athletics to gain hands-on experience while earning money.

Position Requirements:

Record all pregame and halftime performances at designated games Available from one hour before game time until halftime is complete Travel with the band for away games Maintain consistent video quality and positioning Reliable attendance at all scheduled performances Professional attitude and responsibility

Equipment:

Preferred: Student owns camera and tripod (no phone recordings) Alternative: Equipment can be provided if needed

September 6-7 (Sat-Sun) - University of San Diego (AWAY) - SHOW #1 - San Diego, CA - 7:00 PM PST September 13 (Sat) - NAU Band Day - SHOW #1 - Cedar City - 6:00 PM September 20 (Sat) - Nebo/Payson Exhibition - SHOW #1 - Payson - Time 10:00 PM September 27 (Sat) - UWG Homecoming/Alumni - SHOW #1 - Cedar City - 6:00 PM October 18 (Sat) - Abilene Christian University - SHOW #2 - Cedar City - 6:00 PM October 25 (Sat) - Utah Tech University (AWAY) - SHOW #2 - St. George - 7:00 PM November 1 (Sat) - Austin Peay State University - SHOW #1 - Cedar City - 6:00 PM November 8 (Sat) - BOA St. George Exhibition - SHOW #1 - St. George - 4:00 PM November 15 (Sat) - University of Central Arkansas - SHOW #1 - Cedar City - 1:00 PM

Qualifications:

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience with video recording and basic camera operation
  • Interest in music, athletics, or video production
  • Ability to work independently and follow directions
  • Comfortable working in outdoor stadium environments
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Available for weekend travel and evening commitments
