Description:
The Public Speaking Center is a student-run resource dedicated to helping all members of the SUU campus community prepare for presentations and public speeches.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with appointments
- Perform office duties
- Create and give presentations regarding the center
- Help facilitate events each semester.
Qualifications:
- Student must be Work-Study eligible.
- Student must be able to work 3-9 hours per week, including a weekly staff meeting, and occasional events.
- Student must have good teamworking ethics and habits.
- Student must be a self-starter and anxious to help others.
- Student must have good communication skills, both written and oral.
- Student must be able to demonstrate skills in public speaking.
- Students who have completed COMM 1010 will be given priority.
