Description:

Company Management is, at it's core, a customer service provider. Assistants work with the Company Manager to assist with transportation, housing, and many of the other day to day systems that support the well being of the large seasonal company of the Utah Shakespeare Festival. This position also includes working on some nights and weekends.

Responsibilities:

  1. Work with the Company Manager and other company management assistants to cover the company management office and emergency cell phone. * Manage the USFCM email and answer emails throughout the shift as necessary
  2. Work with the Company Manager on housing of seasonal company * Assist with housing set up and load out including furnishings, cleaning, and stocking with household items. * Assist with checking unit for cleanliness during residency * Assist with distribution of keys to the seasonal company and the collection/return of keys to local landlords, SUU Housing, and supervisors * Assist with the reporting and execution of housing maintenance and work orders with USF Facilities and local landlords
  3. Assist with transportation of seasonal company members throughout the season through Cedar City and St. George.
  4. Assist employees who are injured and need medical care, including report of incident, transportation to medical care, and transportation and general support for follow up care
  5. Assist with set up of mobile credentials upon arrival and throughout the season
  6. Assist with planning, prep, and running of company parties * Coordinate and organize social activities and gatherings to promote a sense of community among seasonal and resident staff
  7. Oversee the distribution of seasonal staff mail and packages in coordination with SUU Mail Services and USF Facilities

Qualifications:

  1. Strong customer service skills are required.
  2. Strong organization, planning, and problem solving skills required.
  3. Must work well under pressure and deal calmly with emergencies of various kinds.
  4. Experience with computers, including Gmail, Word, Excel, and Airtable.
  5. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to move a minimum of 50lbs.
  6. Must be willing to work nights and weekends.
  7. Ability to professionally handle confidential information.
