Description:
A Maintenance Worker is responsible for keeping buildings, equipment, and grounds in good repair. They perform a variety of tasks ranging from minor plumbing and electrical fixes to general carpentry and preventative upkeep.
Responsibilities:
- Basic Repairs such as Fix leaky faucets, patch drywall, and repair broken fixtures.
- General Upkeep with Paint surfaces, maintain outdoor areas, and handle basic carpentry.
- Ensure all facilities meet safety codes and address potential hazards immediately.
Qualifications:
- Construction related experience.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical.
- Physical stamina for lifting, climbing, and standing for long periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be willing to work weekends
This position works 20hours per week during classes, 40 hours during summer and breaks.
