Description:
Tier 2 Teaching Artists (PLAYteam) are creative educators who support and assist with Education Department programming at the Utah Shakespeare Festival.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in facilitating theatre and Shakespeare related workshops and activities
- Collaborate in educational material development
- Model professionalism and positive engagement in school and community settings
- Support the core Education Team as needed for education programming
Qualifications:
- Interest in theatre, education, and Shakespeare
- Comfortable working with students of all ages in group settings
- Ability to collaborate, take direction and adapt as needed
- Ability to take charge of a group and handle stressful situations
- Clear communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic, ability to meet deadlines and punctuality for all Tier 2 Teaching Artist commitments.
