Description:

Create, schedule, and post internship advertisements. Plan and host internship events each semester including professional skills training, resume workshops and legislative session review. Schedule visits and interviews with local, state, and congressional offices. Manage employer application deadlines and local offices’ availability to receive interns. Execute mid-point check-ins and final assessments. Collect and organize intern applications. Schedule intern candidate interviews. Reach out to new internship employers. Manage Leavitt Center appearances at job fairs. Keep intern databases up to date.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Google Drive and Google Sheets.
  • Excellent writing skills - the ability to create important professional correspondence is a must.
  • Attention to detail and organization skills required to manage appointments, employer campus visits, interviews, assessments and database.
