Description:
The Graphic Designer works with various departments to create advertisements. The graphic designers are responsible for digital signage, social media designs, swag, weekly issues of Toilet Times, and other projects as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Design bold, eye-catching print and digital materials for major university initiatives, including Thunder U, SUUSA, and the Comeback Kid registration campaign.
- Bring campus to life by crafting graphics for t-shirts, buttons, stickers, posters, flyers, digital signage, A-frames, pop-up booths, and more.
- Create content for social media stories and posts, Facebook banners, TV slideshows, and everything in between.
- Develop polished pieces like pamphlets, booklets, and orientation kits to be mailed or handed to 2,000+ incoming students.
- Collaborate with multiple campus offices and balance several creative projects at once, perfect for sharpening your design chops and time management skills.
- Contribute to the overall vibe of high-energy, student-centered events that make SUU unforgettable.

Qualifications:
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) or similar design tools.
- Strong understanding of design principles (layout, color, typography, branding).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and designing for digital content (Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
- Willingness to take feedback and iterate quickly.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
