Description:

This internship is part of the Fall 2026 Professional Internship Program. To be eligible for the program you must:

SUU Athletics is seeking a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Graphic Design Intern to join our external operations team. This internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced DI Athletics environment, supporting the brand and identity of SUU Athletics. The ideal candidate is passionate about design, sports, and storytelling, with a desire to grow their portfolio and skillset while contributing to the success of our teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Help develop creative concepts and design campaigns for athletic events and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with marketing, communications, and other departments to maintain brand consistency across all assets.
  • Support visual storytelling across SUU Athletics' social media platforms, website, and in-game displays.
  • Organize and maintain digital asset libraries.
  • Participate in creative/weekly meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Working toward a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital media, or a related field.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop required, Illustrator or InDesign a plus).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Portfolio or design work (can include class projects, personal work, or professional experience).
  • Be enrolled as an SUU student during the course of the internship.
  • Have and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Be willing to work 10 to 20 hours per week.
  • Provide thoughtful responses in your application.
