This internship is part of the Fall 2026 Professional Internship Program. To be eligible for the program you must:
This position involves working as the social media manager for the SUU Dixie L Leavitt School of Business. You will be a member of the marketing team and will work collaboratively to create, promote, and sustain the School of Business and Masters of Business Administration social media accounts. This role will focus primarily on inward and outward marketing within the School of Business and work with internal organizations to plan and execute marketing strategies and campaigns.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Marketing Team:
- Work with Marketing Coordinator to implement social media strategies that align with the School of Business’s goals
- Identify target audiences and create engaging content that enhances the student experience
- Work with the Marketing Coordinator to keep all marketing materials aligned with the University and School of Business branding and style guide
- Analyze reports from Hootsuite to track engagement, reach, and conversion
- Photograph events
Social Media:
- Manage School of Business social media platforms including Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Create flyers, graphics, and videos to be used for social media
- Post weekly stories and calendar of events on social platforms
Clubs:
- Be the point of contact for club and department marketing to expand growth in and outside the Business School
- Assist with School of Business club policy and procedure
- Correspond with clubs weekly to maintain an accurate content calendar and uphold brand image
Other:
- Assist at the SUU School of Business front desk.
Qualifications:
- Experience with marketing management tools (Hootsuite, Meta, Emma, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Canva)
- Experience in creating graphics, short-form video, and social media content
- Excellent organization skills. Must be able to manage multiple projects at once, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Be enrolled as an SUU student during the course of the internship.
- Have and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Be willing to work 10 to 20 hours per week.

Preferred:
- Marketing experience
- Pursuing a degree in marketing, communication, or a related field
