Description:

Join the Music Department in running the new George S. and Dolores Dore Eccles Music Center! Applicants will be cross-trained in running Lights, Audio, Video/Streaming, and House Management positions as needs dictate. Work hours will vary week to week based on production/maintenance needs.

Rresponsibilities:

House Management

  • Take tickets
  • Keep count of patrons
  • Help patrons find seats
  • Handing out assisted listen devices
  • Provide first-aid if necessary/fill out incident reports
  • Other duties as assigned throughout this role.

Lighting

  • Hang lights
  • Ring out system
  • Perform checks before each performance
  • Run lights for events
  • Other duties as assigned throughout this role.

Audio

  • Set up Mics/Monitors
  • Ring out system
  • Perform checks before each performance
  • Mix audio for performance and/or run audio playback
  • Other duties as assigned throughout this role.

Video/Streaming

  • Control cameras and feed switching during performances
  • Preset video looks
  • Perform checks before each performance
  • Other duties as assigned throughout this role.

Qualifications:

  • Basic Knowledge of Signal Flow
  • Available to work nights and weekends
  • Able to work at heights
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • Willingness to comply to safety regulations
  • Able to work independently as well as with a team

  • Basic Networking Knowledge
  • SDI Termination
  • Cable Management
  • Hanging Lights
  • Light plots
  • Sound plots
  • Soldering
  • QLab 5 programming
  • Q-SYS level 1
  • Dante level 3
  • RJ45 termination
  • Ability to produce paperwork per USITT/IATSE/TSDCA guidelines
  • Shure Wireless Workbench
  • Knowledge of Yamaha Digital Consoles (DM7 compact)
  • Knowledge of ETC EOS Consoles (Element 2)
  • Knowledge of Black Magic Switchers
  • Knowledge of Panasonic PTZ
