Description:
Southern Utah University Campus Recreation is seeking dependable, energetic, and knowledgeable individuals to serve as Intramural Flag Football Officials. This is an excellent opportunity for students who enjoy sports, want to gain officiating experience, and are looking for a flexible part-time position that works around their class schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Creating a safe, fair, and enjoyable playing environment for all participants while enforcing intramural and flag football rules.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Ability to remain professional and composed when dealing with disagreements or challenging situations.
- Willingness to learn and apply intramural flag football rules and policies.
Preferred:
- Previous flag football, football, or officiating experience.
- Previous experience working in intramural sports, City Rec or athletics.
