Description:

This role supports a team by organizing and editing digital and physical files, especially floor plans, and helping with building inventory. It requires basic proficiency with AutoCAD for simple 2D drafting and editing.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist professor as needed.
  • Grade homework assignments and record scores on Canvas.
  • Possibly mentor students during class time.
  • Perform supporting tasks such as file organizing, file editing, and basic AutoCAD usage.
  • Aid in sorting, scanning, and filing physical copies of floor plans and record drawings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Comfortable using AutoCAD.
  • Basic understanding of file organizing conventions.
  • Ability to organize digital CAD files.
  • Understanding of basic AutoCAD drafting and editing.
  • Ability to lift up to 50-lbs., bend, crawl, and/or reach.
  • Understanding of English for general communication, video training, building security, shift occurrences, work orders, problems, and safety.
  • Capable of understanding instructions both verbally and in writing, and able to listen and ask clarifying questions as needed.
  • Must complete safety and equipment usage training.
  • Must be enrolled for at least 12 credit hours during fall and spring semesters.
  • Must be thorough, motivated, and detail oriented.
