Description:
- Set-up, run, and take-down the SUU Mobile Planetarium at local elementary and middle schools
- Learn and present scripted planetarium shows to elementary and middle school audiences
- Help carry out additional STEM Center events for the community
Qualifications:
- Some astronomy experience preferred, but not required
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Google Workspace
- Must be able to pass a background check through SUU
- Dependability and punctuality a must
- Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs
- Must have a valid driver's license and transportation to travel to work locations at elementary schools in Cedar City and Enoch
Hiring for the following schedule options:
- Wednesday 8:30 am - 12 pm + Thursday 4:30 - 9:00 pm
- Wednesday 12:00 - 3:30 pm + Thursday 4:30 - 9:00 pm
- Thursday 8:30 am - 12 pm + Thursday 4:30 - 9:00 pm
- Thursday 12:00 - 3:30 pm + Thursday 4:30 - 9:00 pm
