Description:
The Speech and Presentation Center is a student-run institution here on campus dedicated towards helping students, faculty, and other community members in all aspects regarding presentations, interviews, and public speaking events. As a member of SAPC, interns will assist with appointments and office duties, create and give presentations regarding the center, and help in facilitating events throughout the semester.
Qualifications:
Student must be able to work at least 3 hours per week in the center, and must regularly attend the weekly staff meetings and events promoted by the center. We are looking for a self-starter who is able to bring new and creative ideas to both our team and students we help.
Good communication skills, both orally and in writing are encouraged.
Must be able to demonstrate skill or experience in public speaking and/or presentations.
Completion of COMM 1010 is required. Completion of other Communications classes preferred.
