Description:
The Aviation Maintenance Training school is looking for a highly motivated individual with the willingness to perform a wide array of jobs required at the lab locations of the AMT program. This position is a physically demanding job that will require the applicant to be familiar with maintenance and know their way around tools and machinery. The applicant will need transportation and be willing to travel between lab locations at the Cedar City Airport, Align Precision facility, and SUU Main Campus.
Responsibilities
- Clean hangars, lab spaces, and aircraft in support of instructors in lab areas
- Set up, clean, and maintain aircraft, aircraft parts, tools, and training aids
- Perform maintenance on aircraft and training equipment under the supervision of the Lab Manager
- Design and Build mock-ups and training aids
- Maintain inventory and inventory areas
- Required to work evenings but will not work later than 10pm
- Other duties as assigned by Lab Manager

- Experience with welding, carpentry, and machinery
- Experience with maintenance
