Description:
This is a busy, front office position in a large department. Depending on scheduling, the successful candidate will provide front desk support to both the main psychology dept in GC 308 as well as the new Psy.D space and psychology clinic in BB 106/102. These front desk duties include:
- Clerical support to all psychology faculty/staff members.
- Producing and proofreading various documents and reports.
- Answering phones/taking messages/responding to email.
- Overseeing room scheduling and the equipment check-out process.
- Greeting and checking-in visitors to the department.
- Managing client payments.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked office space.
- Providing TA support for psychology faculty.
- Additional tasks as assigned.
- Some evening hours may be required (the clinic is open until 8 PM on Mon - Thurs).

Qualifications:
- Must be a declared psychology major.
- Must be dependable and show up to shifts on time.
- Must be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Google Drive).
- Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Must be able to successfully manage multiple priorities.
- Must take direction well and remember instructions,
- Must have strong work ethic and demonstrate the ability to work independently.
- Must be trustworthy to work with sensitive and confidential information.
- Must complete FERPA training and Title IX training at the beginning of employment.
- Front office experience strongly preferred.
