Description:
SUU Fleet Operations is seeking a student employee to fuel and clean sedans, vans, and trucks for the campus Motor Pool. The department has an indoor wash bay to clean vehicles inside and out and the fuel pump is located next to the building. Work hours are flexible, but mornings are the preferred time. Hours are also available on weekends.
Vehicles are cleaned with shop-vacs, cleaning products, and a pressure washer. An employee with mechanical skills is preferred in order to also perform preventative maintenance such as oil changes and tire repairs. The job would be a good fit for an Aviation student whose hours of availability might vary.
Position could start immediately or wait until school starts again in January.
Qualifications:
Employee needs to be punctual, dependable, and able work independently. Candidate should also be detail oriented and have a good driving record. Previous mechanical experience is a plus in order to complete preventative maintenance and minor repairs like battery replacements.
