Description:

SUU Aviation is seeking a qualified candidate to assist in Marketing the growing aviation program. Your primary role will be to reach out to leads from various sources to inform them of the opportunities as a commercial pilot or aviation technician and SUU Aviation. This person must be able and willing to share information about our programs, provide guidance and assistance to potential students on matters related to enrollment and the admissions process.

Duties:

  • Able to foster relationships with lead sources to increase prospective student interest for aviation maintenance, helicopter, or airplane university degree programs.

  • Demonstrate positive attitude, motivation, concern for students, teamwork, excellent time management skills and the work ethic to follow-through on commitments to student leads and the school.

  • Make and receive outbound phone calls, emails and follow up on inquiries/leads.

  • Follow up with candidates and ensure complete and thorough documentation is recorded and stored in CRM system.

  • Attend SUU Campus and High School events representing SUU Aviation to help promote the programs.

  • Aid in research of Aviation Industry information that may help promote interests

  • Able to accomplish work without considerable direction.

  • There is a 15 hour per week minimum, work expectation to be coordinated with your supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Aviation student

  • Customer service, telemarketing or sales experience, and university admissions process preferred.

  • Knowledge of aerospace industry preferred.

  • Excellent verbal, writing, and communications skills.

  • Must be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work assigned/flexible hours necessary to complete the job on a weekly basis.

  • Internet savvy. Ability to learn new CRM programs with ease.

  • Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others.
