Description:

Maintaining an inventory of parts and tools within the Parts Department located at the SUU Airport Hangar for all aircraft types and industrial equipment inventorying, stocking, and issuing parts/supplies and tools to other departments/mechanics.

Providing quick and friendly customer service to the different departments and vendors Assisting the Maintenance Department as well as the Parts Department as needed or directed by management The Tools & Parts Assistant will strive to complete all tasks as assigned by the Purchasing Manager, Inventory Manager and all other management personnel in a safe and timely manner to ensure operational integrity.

Work is performed with some latitude for independent judgment but will be supervised by an immediate supervisor and is reviewed periodically to assure conformity with all departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

At least 18 years of age. Willing to work weekends and/or holidays if needed. Strong knowledge in math and statistics. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as required. Ability to stand or be on your feet for extended periods of time. General knowledge and proficient use of a computer and computers programs (Microsoft Office suite). Able to work independently People skills, organizational skills, and good written and oral communication skills are required. General mechanical skills and knowledge. Experience using most power and hand tools correctly and in a safe manner. Experience in Logistics Operations is preferred.
