Description:
The SUU Marketing Communication Office is seeking a creative, motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our fun and fast-paced work environment, on a project needs basis.
The position is based on need and does not guarantee a set number of hours each month. Hours may fluctuate based on project requirements and department needs.
The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, work both independently and in a team, and the ability to write current, relevant content for a variety of channels including web, social and print. This is an excellent opportunity for students to get hands-on experience in public relations while developing their communication skills.
Responsibilities:

Develop original content for the SUU News

Write press releases and blog posts

Conduct research and interviews

Create and maintain relationships with students, faculty, staff and the community
Qualifications:

Strong written and oral communication skills

Knowledge of AP writing style

Knowledge of SEO

Knowledge of Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides)
