This internship is part of the Spring 2025 Professional Internship Program. To be eligible for the program you must:

We are looking for a competent student to assist with various tasks for the Donor Relations Manager in the Advancement Office. The ideal candidate will undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will need to be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as collaborating with other University departments to improve and execute processes. Summer semester availability is required.

  • Be enrolled as an SUU student during the course of the internship.
  • Have and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Be willing to work 10 to 20 hours per week.
  • Provide thoughtful responses in your application.

The Advancement Services Student Aid - Donor Relations/Stewardship will:

  • Assist the Donor Relations Manager (and other staff as needed)
  • Prepare, edit, and send out donor acknowledgement letters
  • Update constituent records by following precise data entry procedures, as needed
  • Scan, upload, and manage important documents
  • Prepare, print and distribute cards, emails, gifts, letters, and various office communications
  • Assist with office and donor events, including planning/preparation, setting up/taking down, and on-site event assistance
  • Assist with other data entry and administrative tasks
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Highly skilled with Microsoft Office and Google Suite preferred
