Description:

As an intern with Southern Utah University's Internal Audit Office, you'll play a key role in enhancing the University's operations by participating in risk-based audits that provide valuable insights and assurance. You'll be directly involved in the purchasing card audit process, ensuring compliance with University policies, validating transactions, and helping identify potential risks, all while contributing to the protection of University resources.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with purchasing card audits.
  • Conduct data analytics for University purchasing cards, travel, and departmental audits.
  • Perform audit procedures (with guidance) for departmental and USHE-required annual audits, including Institutional Investments, Revenue Generating Activities, Institutional Discretionary Funds, and Travel.
  • Participate in other analytical and research projects as needed.
