Description:

This internship is part of the Summer 2025 Professional Internship Program. To be eligible for the program you must:

  • Be enrolled as an SUU student during the course of the internship.
  • Have and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Be willing to work 10 to 20 hours per week.
  • Provide thoughtful responses in your application.

The KSUU Production Assistant works with the Station Manager, Program Director, Production Director and Promotions Director to:

  • ensure quality programming and production on KSUU Thunder 91
  • keep programming and production up to date
  • plan programming and production on Thunder 91
  • plan, promote, and carry out promotional events such as Battle of the Bands, Guitars Unplugged, and other remote broadcasts
  • additional duties depending on educational goals and career aspirations

Qualifications:

  • Interest in radio broadcasting, media production, and event coordination
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
