Description:

The Digital Marketing Assistant plays an essential role in planning, developing, and executing recruitment marketing campaigns for the Office of International Affairs, under the Executive Director of International Admissions. They will utilize platforms such as Google Ads and Meta to create and monitor campaigns. The position will help ensure that campaigns are running optimally and recommend edits and adjustments to content and strategy as needed. As needed, this position will help create and maintain landing pages for specific campaigns following SUU brand guidelines and established best practices for web design. The position will also lead out in responding to inquiries and other communications resulting from ad campaigns (these communications may be received in languages other than English), requiring the candidate to become familiar with SUU international admissions policies and standards, general recruitment topics, and other frequently asked questions. Generative AI tools may be used in streamlining responses and developing an effective communication strategy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create and monitor effective digital marketing campaigns.
  • Leverage analytics to ensure campaign effectiveness and reach.
  • Create and maintain website landing pages.
  • Respond to student and prospective student inquiries using various communication platforms.
  • Work with members of the marketing team to create and execute effective organic marketing projects.
  • Research and understand different audiences to support effective campaign creation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Student pursuing a major in: Marketing, Communication, Business Analytics, or closely related field.
  • Prior experience in Google Ads, Meta Ads, or similar platforms.
  • Expert command of the English language (verbal and written).

Preferred:

  • Some experience with Google Analytics or similar tools.
  • Some experience with web design or CMS platforms.
