Description:

Tutor struggling students at local elementary schools for approximately 11 hours per week during the regular school day (9:00 am-3:00 pm). This is under the direction of the individual school reading specialists.

Qualifications:

Interested applicants must clear a full Utah State Board of Education FBI background check and qualify for Federal Work-Study (please see below). They should be proficient in reading and have an ability to work with students who struggle with reading. Preference will be given to previous employees and elementary education majors. Must have a 3.0 or higher cum GPA and qualify for work-study.

Only those committed to working the full 11+ hours per semester need apply--students and reading specialists count on your help. Students in the Elementary Block or Student Teaching/internships cannot fill the commitment for this job.
