Description:

Looking for qualified candidates to work as in-person and online STEM tutors. We will be holding sessions in the afternoon and evening Monday through Thursday.

Responsilities:

  • Helping K-12 students with their homework in math/science subjects.
  • Communicating issues, ideas, and important information with the Tutoring Center Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Current SUU student pursuing a STEM degree.
  • Must be able to work shifts that will give a minimum of 8 hours per week. Hours are Monday through Thursday 2-8 PM. (priority given to 2-5 PM time)
  • Comfortable teaching and/or researching a wide range of math/science subjects. Required to have finished Calculus
  • Must be able to pass a background check through ICSD and SUU
  • Dependable and punctual, friendly, good communication skills a must, enjoy working with children and high school age students
  • Must be able to maintain a clean and neat, professional appearance
  • Comfortable working Zoom and basic technology
