Description:

This position is designed for a creative, detail-oriented student looking to gain real-world, hands-on experience in video production and brand marketing. This position documents campus life, events, and achievements, contributing directly to shaping SUU’s visual identity and narrative. Projects often require evening and weekend hours, regular work hours are built around class schedules.

Responsibilities:

  • Shoot high-quality video of campus events, promotional campaigns, and testimonials using professional equipment.
  • Edit footage using Adobe Premiere Pro (and After Effects).
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop engaging visual stories that resonate with prospective students, alumni, and the campus community.
  • Maintain accurate archives of video assets within SUU’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
  • Manage multiple projects with deadlines.
  • Represent SUU with professionalism, dependability, and assignment-appropriate attire.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Workspace, and mirrorless cameras.
  • Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Google Docs, Drive, and Sheets.
  • Projects often require evening and weekend hours, regular work hours are built around class schedules.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment over 30 lbs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to accept constructive feedback.

Communication, Film, Marketing, or Fine Arts major preferred, but not required.
