Description:
SUU’s School of Aviation is seeking a creative and motivated Student Videographer to join our Marketing Team. This role focuses on producing engaging video and photo content used across digital platforms to showcase SUU Aviation and inspire prospective students. The visibility of your work will be high, offering valuable real-world marketing experience and strong portfolio material.
Responsibilities
- Produce weekly video and photo content as assigned
- Assist with planning and scheduling photo and video shoots
- Capture, edit, and export video and photos for marketing use
- Meet project deadlines and manage multiple assignments
- Support special marketing projects as needed
- Attend aviation events to capture media, which may be outside of regular work hours
- Represent SUU and the Aviation Department in a professional and positive manner
- Bring creativity, initiative, and a collaborative attitude to the team
- Other duties as assigned
Work Schedule
Minimum 15 hours per week, Maximum 20 hours per week
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Current SUU student
- Must own DSLR camera and related accessories
- Access to Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software)
- Reliable, punctual, and honest
- Willingness to learn and take creative direction
- Personable with a self-starter mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Aviation Student
- Strong interest in videography and photography
- Coursework or experience in videography, marketing, media, or related fields
- Experience with Adobe video and photo editing software
- Demonstrated self-taught or proactive learning
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines
- Aviation student or general knowledge of aviation
- Familiarity with digital media and print marketing materials
- Strong desire to grow creatively and professionally
