Description:

Southern Utah University Housing is seeking motivated and dependable students to join our Summer Housekeeping Team. This role is essential in preparing campus housing for summer conferences and the upcoming academic year. The primary goal is to maintain a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment for all guests and residents. This position requires regular physical activity, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. Successful candidates will demonstrate reliability, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean residence hall rooms, common areas, and other housing facilities to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
  • Assist in getting housing units ready for summer conference guests and the transition into the new academic year.
  • Work alongside fellow team members to maintain organizational standards across all campus housing locations.
  • Commit to primarily weekday shifts, with the flexibility to work occasional weekends based on housing demands.

Full-time hours are preferred, though part-time schedules may be available to accommodate students taking summer classes.
