THIS JOB WILL BEGIN AUGUST 2026 WITH A WEEK OR TWO TRAINING IN APRIL
The department of Filmmaking, Art, and Design is looking for a dependable, friendly student to support the Filmmaking, Art, and Design Office. This position helps create a welcoming, supportive environment for students, faculty, and visitors, while also keeping things organized behind the scenes—especially with art model scheduling.
What You’ll Do:
- Welcome and assist students, faculty, and visitors
- Answer questions in person, over the phone, and via email
- Data entry and updating of calendars, budget, and records
- Coordinate art model sessions (scheduling, confirming, and communicating details)
- Manage the model scheduling system and resolve conflicts as they arise
- Support general office needs ( i.e. inventorying supplies, model laundry, light cleaning, etc.)
- And other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Skills We're Looking For:
- Friendly, reliable, and easy to work with
- Organized and able to keep track of details
- Good communicator (in person, email, etc.)
- Comfortable juggling a few tasks at once
- Willing to help where needed, adapt as needed, and learn on the job
- Comfortable using basic computer programs, such as Google Workspace
- Able to multitask, stay organized, and work independently
- Available to work consistent blocks of time
- In good academic and conduct standing with the university
