Description:

(Road Closure – multiple positions available) The Utah Shakespeare Festival is looking for reliable individuals to assist with road closure during the performances in the outdoor Engelstad Shakespeare Theatre. Employment for this position will run from approximately June 15th to September 6th. Working hours are Monday through Saturday, from approximately 7:30 P.M. to 11:30 P.M. (with some flexibility in timing). Part time employment, usually weekdays, some evening and weekend tasks

Responsibilities:

  • This role involves setting up A-frame barricades and detour signs prior to performances, taking them down after the show concludes, and being stationed at the closures to monitor traffic and allow emergency access.
  • Assist with housing maintenance tasks and general operations upkeep for the Utah Shakespeare Festival facilities, including housing, theaters, and production areas.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and possess a current
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Communicate effectively using handheld radios and computers.
  • Highly dependable, have a strong work ethic, and are committed to performing their duties responsibly.
