Description:

The Student Vending Operations Lead maintains vending machines managed by the Campus Store on campus and remote locations. This position is responsible for stocking and rotating products, checking expiration dates, maintaining accurate pricing, cleaning machines, and assisting with basic maintenance and programming. The student will also learn Cantaloupe vending software to assist with sales reporting, inventory tracking, and product ordering.

Responsibilies:

  • Stock vending machines and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
  • Rotate products and remove expired or damaged merchandise.
  • Keep vending machines clean, organized, and properly merchandised.
  • Verify and program accurate product pricing and selections.
  • Learn and use Cantaloupe software for reporting, sales tracking, and inventory management.
  • Assist with product ordering and monitoring product needs by location.
  • Identify machine issues and assist with basic troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and product records.
  • Travel on campus and to remote vending locations as assigned.
  • Perform other vending-related duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills.
  • Willingness to learn vending equipment, programming, and Cantaloupe software.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet university driving requirements.
  • Ability to lift and move cases of beverages and snacks, push carts, bend, reach, and stock vending machines.

Previous retail, inventory, merchandising, or equipment maintenance experience is preferred.
