Description:

Under the supervision of the show master electrician, Technical Director, and Lighting Designer, these positions safely maintain the lighting instruments and the sound plot for all Department of Theatre, Dance, and Arts Administration productions.

Responsibilitlies:

  • Hanging and focusing of conventional fixtures from a lighting plot as well as wiring of lighting practicals.
  • Basic rigging.
  • Musical editing and mixing.
  • Setting up wireless and wired microphone positions, speaker setup, and sound patching.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Hours dependent on production schedule.

Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of THEA 1613 Theatrical Production
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be able to lift 50lbs
  • Able to work at heights
