Awarded to a non-traditional junior or senior student, with financial need who is not receiving full PELL Grant or other funding. The student should be from a rural area in Southern Utah, with first preference going to a student from the Utah District 28, the area Dennis served in as a Utah Senator. This includes all of Millard, Garfied, Kane, Iron and Beaver counties and Eastern Washington County. The scholarship awards $1,500 annually, as funds allow, to a student majoring in Integrated Engineering in the College of Science & Engineering.
