Donor Biography

Iron County home builders is an industry of professionals striving to promote high stands in ethics, education and political involvement to serve and improve the community. This association was established in 1993 under the name of Iron County Contractors Association. In 1994 they became affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders as the Iron County Home Builders Association. The membership is approx. 1/3 builder members and 2/3 associate members. HBA of Utah is the advocate for the housing industry to the Utah State Legislature and the other state regulatory agencies. We are a non -profit corporation. Every year we host the Festival of Homes, Spring Home & Garden Fair, the HBA Golf Tournament, and many Continuing Education Classes.

Scholarship Criteria

Awarded to an outstanding student in Construction Technology with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who demonstrates financial need. Awarded students must attend the January Home Builders Banquet, two General Membership Luncheons and two Board Meetings.
