About This Scholarship

Donor Biography

The Rocky Mountain Power Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Rocky Mountain Power. Their mission, through charitable investments, is to support the growth and vitality of local communities.

To help nurture the next generation of thinkers and doers, Rocky Mountain Power is making investments that will lead to stronger communities today and better opportunities for everyone tomorrow. These investments begin with their consistent support of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math education “ STEAM“ programs. Through the company's initiatives, foundation grants, and college scholarships, they have partnered with over 420 nonprofit organizations, including Southern Utah University.

Alongside these organizations, Rocky Mountain Power Foundation is determined to empower the next generation by creating and promoting hands-on, inclusive learning opportunities for children, teens, and young adults. These curious minds will become the next scientists, engineers, and technicians who will help to innovate clean energy and clean transportation solutions. They will be the partners who will help us forge the grid of the future and the leaders who will help guide the growth of our communities.
