Awarded to a student who has a parent or guardian that is incarcerated for two years or more, or the parent has done 3 or more years in the past 7 years. Student must prove parent/guardian incarceration. Student must provide an essay detailing their family situation in the following form or deliver it to the SUU financial aid office before being selected. Student must be from Utah. Preference to students with 3.0 GPA or higher. 2.0 allowed.
