Bio
Roger Seegmiller graduated from Southern Utah University in 1984. Roger has stayed close to SUU and has been an advocate for the Dixie Leavitt School of Business. He was an integral part of launching the Entrepreneurship program at SUU and a founding member of the Entrepreneurship Leadership Council. Roger is self-employed as a Founder, Mentor, and Entrepreneur. He built the company ILT and sold it in 2023 to retire in Hurricane, with his wife Connie.
Roger established this fund because he is passionate about mentoring the next generation and giving back to the university, which gave him the opportunity to become successful. Roger is also passionate about music and plays trumpet in a local band. He and his wife Connie feel strongly about supporting the arts, including: Music, Theater, Arts, Dance, Dance Education, and all BFA- seeking students. Roger states, “All of this is nothing compared to the joy and satisfaction shared with my beautiful wife, wonderful children and grandchildren.
Criteria
Must be seeking a bachelor's degree in the arts, including: Music, Theater, Arts, Dance, Dance Education, and all BFA-seeking students. Student must be enrolled in a class with the ENTR prefix or a course required for an entrepreneurship certificate or minor. Student must have financial need and have a commitment to entrepreneurial success.
