Bio
Lehi Kerry Jones graduated from Branch Agricultural College (BAC) in 1949. As the grandson of one of the university's founders (Lehi W. Jones), Kerry always felt a particular connection with this school. Following his time at BAC, he graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in marketing and finance. Kerry served the Cedar City community in many capacities as mayor and as a business leader including his years as president of State Bank of Southern Utah. Barbara Sue Jones (Sue) also attended Southern Utah University and received a two-year certificate of completion. She has served on several civic boards and committees and has always been a firm supporter of the university and its goals.
Criteria
Awarded to students in the School of Business with a marketing major receive first preference. Second preference is given to students with a finance major. Maintaining at least a 3.0 GPA
