Bennion-Wallace Endowed Scholarship
About This Scholarship
Donor Biography
The Wallaces are from Idaho and California. They were generous donors at then Ricks College and also admirers of Bennions who were educators, including Milton (the first president of SUU) and Lowell. The Wallaces dropped by SUU many years ago and indicated their desire to estaglish an endowment in the names of both the Wallaces and Bennions. They were public spirited people and Steven Bennion (President of SUU from 1997-2006 and grandson of Milton Bennion) believes the Wallaces would feel good about having funds allocated to student scholarships for students who are highly involved with the Michael O. Leavitt Center for Politics and Public Service.
