Lecture Code Prepare and Lecture Code
To provide incentive for students to come to class prepared, lecture code prepare and lecture codes are assigned that correspond with lectures. Prepare the starting codes and files for the lecture. The lecture codes prepare and lecture codes must be taken individually, with no help from other individuals.
Lecture Code Prepare and Lecture Codes Assignments should be submitted by the due date and time. No late submission. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Quizzes
There will be unannounced in-class quizzes to assess students' understanding of the material. Each quiz will consist of single-choice, multiple-choice, True/False, short-answer, and/or other types of questions. During the quizzes, students are allowed to use their own hard-copy notes and hard-copy textbooks. However, students is not allowed to work with others on these quizzes, either students registered for the class or others outside the class.
Quiz Assignments should be submitted by the due date and time. No late submission. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Homework
There will be approximately 10 homework assignments throughout the course. Each individual assignment typically consists of a set of problems requiring the application of programming skills and software familiarity.
While it is acceptable to discuss aspects of the homework and solution strategy with others, your submission should represent your own work. For instance, it would be acceptable to ask for help if you keep getting an error message in Python, but it would be unacceptable to take someone else’s Python code, run it, and report the results.
Homework should be submitted by the due date and time. Late submission will be accepted with a penalty.
Projects
Throughout this course, you will complete three distinct project works, each focusing on a critical area of data analytics. These projects are designed to reinforce your learning and provide practical experience in data preprocessing using Python, SQL integration and visualization, and the creation of presentations and dashboards in Tableau.
Detailed instructions for the projects will be provided along with the project topics or questions during the corresponding week.
