Email: In this course we will use Canvas to send emails to your Canvas email account. Please check your messages regularly.
- Assignments will not be accepted via email.
- Check your SUU email frequently and at least once daily.
Acceptable Use of AI:
- Brainstorming and refining your ideas.
- Finding information on your topic (it is your responsibility to cross check and verify that information).
- Checking grammar and style.
Unacceptable Use of AI:
- Impersonating you in classroom contexts, such as by using the tool to compose discussion board prompts assigned to you or content that you put into a Zoom chat.
- Completing individual or group work that your group has assigned to you.
- Writing a draft of a writing assignment.
- Writing entire sentences, paragraphs, or papers to complete class assignments.
You are responsible for the information you submit based on an AI query. If using AI tools, it must be properly documented and cited to stay within university policies on academic honesty. Any unauthorized use will receive a zero. When in doubt, please ask for clarification.
Academic Integrity: Scholastic dishonesty will not be tolerated and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent. You are expected to have read and understood Policy 6.33 Academic Integrity and the current issue of the student handbook regarding student responsibilities and rights. Violations may result in a zero on the assignment or an F in the course. University officials will be notified of any student who receives an F due to an academic integrity violation.
