Connect Practice Sets
Your instructor and CA are here to help and welcome questions. For each module, you will be given a set of practice problems from Connect. You are welcome to attempt the problems as many times as necessary until you receive credit for the problem. These are big practice sets, as they need to cover all the material for a week and it is expected that you have multiple days to work on them. So please don’t wait until an hour before they are due to open them! It is important that you retry them until you get full credit (and understand why the answer is correct!) because along with the quizzes, full points provide some wiggle room to make up for a poor exam. Email your CA and I as often as you need. However, please do not email the question to us and expect us to do all of the work for you. Please show us your attempt and have specific questions for us. See Late Policy.
Quizzes
Your instructor and CA are here to help and welcome questions. Each quiz will consist of multiple-choice questions which will be similar in style and content to what you will see on the exams. These quizzes are open book and untimed, but must be completed in one attempt and submitted by the due date. Email your CA and I as often as you need. However, please do not email the question to us and expect us to do all of the work for you. Please show us your attempt and have specific questions for us. See Late Policy.
Exams
Download the Honorlock extension well before the first exam. You must have Honorlock installed before taking each exam.
Failure to follow all exam instructions will result in a Notice of Academic Misconduct (SUU Policy 6.33), which might result in a zero on the exam, an final grade of F, a note on your transcript, or expulsion from from the Business School. Review your rights and responsibilities under this policy. I watch every Honorlock video. Cheating will be taken seriously. Thank you in advance for being honest.
There are four proctored, timed, non-cumulative, multiple choice exams.
EXAM INSTRUCTIONS:
- It is your responsibility to read and follow all exam instructions.
- Formulas will be provided on the exam in Canvas
- Everyone will take the exam at the same time

Final Grade
Do the work when it is assigned, and if you are concerned about your grade, talk to me sooner rather than later. The end of the semester is not the time to show concern about your grade. Your CA and I are always available to discuss study strategies, work problems with you, and offer guidance to prepare for exams.
It is fair to treat all students the same. It is unfair to treat any one student differently. I never offer extra credit, exam retakes, or free points. Please do not ask for extra credit, exam retakes, or free points. Its the moral equivalent of asking me to look the other way while you cheat on an exam. In fact, asking for extra credit, exam retakes, or free points might result in a lower grade.
