Description:

The SUU Marketing Communication Office is seeking a creative, motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our fun and fast-paced work environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, work both independently and in a team, and the ability to write current, relevant content for a variety of channels including web, social and print. This is an excellent opportunity for students to get hands-on experience in public relations while developing their communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop original content for the SUU News.
  • Write press releases and blog posts.
  • Conduct research and interviews.
  • Create and maintain relationships with students, faculty, staff and the community.

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of AP writing style.
  • Knowledge of SEO.
  • Knowledge of Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Dedication to quality.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize high-level projects in a deadline driven environment.
  • Proactive self-starter.
