Description:

At KSUU student interns get tailored, hands-on experience based on their educational goals and career aspirations. If interest is primarily in radio, the internship is centered around on-air, production, programming, and other radio work. If interest is primarily with social media and marketing, the internship would center around promotions, social media, and marketing for the radio station and our events.

The KSUU Production Intern works with the other KSUU employees to operate Thunder 91. This includes, but is not limited to, much of the following:

  • Create new radio production.
  • Maintain programming of KSUU-FM Thunder 91.
  • Plan, promote, and carry out events.
  • Weekly on-air work and/or podcast recording and producing.
  • Graphic design and social media messaging.

Qualifications:

This internship is part of the Summer 2026 Professional Internship Program. To be eligible for the program you must:

  • Be enrolled as an SUU student during the course of the internship.
  • Have and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Be willing to work 10 to 20 hours per week.
  • Provide thoughtful responses in your application.
