Description:

  • Set-up, run, and take-down the SUU Mobile Planetarium at local elementary and middle schools
  • Learn and present scripted planetarium shows to elementary and middle school audiences
  • Help carry out additional STEM Center events for the community

Qualifications:

  • Some astronomy experience preferred, but not required
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Google Workspace
  • Must be able to pass a background check through SUU
  • Dependability and punctuality a must
  • Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs
  • Must have a valid driver's license and transportation to travel to work locations at elementary schools in Cedar City and Enoch

Hiring for the following schedule options:

  • Wednesday 8:30 am - 12 pm + Thursday 4:30 - 9:00 pm
  • Wednesday 12:00 - 3:30 pm + Thursday 4:30 - 9:00 pm
